Kochville Christmas celebration complete with Santa, fireworks

KOCHVILLE TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

Kochville Township will welcome Santa and his reindeer for a holiday celebration. The first ever Christmas in Kochville kicks off Friday night.

The family friendly event is free. All the fun will happen at Krossroads Park on Fashion Square Boulevard, located across from the Walmart. Organizers invite you to bring the family out to decorate Christmas cookies, listen to carols and enjoy some hot cocoa.

Kids can also give Santa their wish list and pet his reindeer. The festivities include a fireworks show at 8 p.m. Bring a lawn chair to watch the display or catch it from a heated Santa tent.

Christmas in Kochville is sponsored by the Kochville Township Downtown Development Authority, with assistance from the Saginaw County Sheriff's Office, the Kochville Fire Department and more.
