MILLINGTON, MI (WNEM) -
A community will bid farewell to a fallen soldier from the Thumb.
Visitation for Army Sergeant First Class Jake Schlereth is set for 1 p.m. Friday.
The Vassar native died unexpectedly of a heart condition last week while stationed in Georgia.
Schlereth was 31.
Visitation will be at Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington.
His funeral is Saturday at 1 p.m. at Vassar High School.
