SAGINAW COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

The body of a missing man was recovered in Saginaw County's Carrollton Township Sunday afternoon.

Two men searching for scrap metal found 67-year-old Paul Moore's body in a heavily wooded drainage ditch near the intersection of Carrollton and Shattuck Roads.

Mr. Moore,  who suffered from dementia and early onset Alzheimer's, wandered away from his home on November 23rd.

Mr. Moore covered about three miles from his home on Frandor Place near Bay and McCarty Roads.

Moore was a retired Delta College professor.

Saginaw Township Police Chief Don Pussehl says there didn't appear to be any signs of foul play, and that Mr. Moore still had his identification and credit cards on him.
