Pres. Barack Obama is scheduled to be in Detroit on Monday to speak about the fiscal cliff.
The White House said the president will be at the Daimler Detroit Diesel, an auto plant in Wayne County's Redford Township.
Obama will meet with auto workers as part of a strategy to promote his plan to prevent the fiscal cliff.
The Obama administration told labor leaders the president also will be weighing in on the right-to-work fight in his speech.
Meanwhile, the president and Speaker of the House John Boehner met Sunday at the White House.
Obama's visit comes after Republicans in Michigan last week pushed right-to-work legislation through the state House and Senate.Erskin Bowles, former White House Chief of Staff is quoted as saying, "You know they've started to tango, and anytime you've got two guys in there tangoing you've got a chance to get it done."
The president and speaker are trying to find common ground on fiscal cliff negotiations.
