Today, Michigan State says it has sold only two thousand of the 11-thousand tickets it has received for the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl in Tempe, Arizona on Dec. 29 versus TCU.
If the Spartans do not sell the remaining nine thousand the rest will be sent back.
"As anticipated, bowl ticket sales have been slow through the Spartan Ticket Office," MSU Athletics Director Mark Hollis said. "Over the years, fans have become more creative in identifying ways to purchase the best seat locations at the best prices."
If MSU has to eventually send tickets back, then don't look for Sparty to be invited to any significant bowl games in the future, because a program that does not travel well, will not be sought after by bigger bowl committees.
