MIDLAND, MI (WNEM) -
More than 1,000 people are expected to remember a local boy who died recently.
Jayden Lamb recently lost his battle with cancer November 27, and Wednesday friends and family are celebrating Jayden's birthday.
The celebration is called "Sending a birthday party to heaven."
Wednesday night, everyone will light Chinese lanterns and launch them into the sky.
If you're interested in attending, the party kicks off at 5:30 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church at 1550 South Poseyville Rd. in Midland.
