Eagle tries to grab baby

MONTREAL, QUEBEC (WNEM) -

Cameras were rolling when a golden eagle swooped in and, for a brief moment, took off with a child.

The child was only airborne for a few seconds before the eagle let go.

Golden eagles usually try to grab squirrels and smaller animals, not children.

The child was spooked but unharmed.
