Huron County woman dies in mobile home fire

MEADE TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

Still no word on what caused a fire at a trailer home that claimed the life of a Huron County woman.

It happened just before midnight Saturday in Meade Township.

That's near Port Austin.

While fighting the blaze, firefighters discovered 83-year-old Lorna Knoblock dead in a bedroom.

Officials returned to the scene Monday to continue their investigation.

An autopsy is expected to take place Monday.
