Slick conditions keep police busy in Genesee County

GENESEE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Genesee County authorities have responded to multiple accidents throughout the day because of the slick conditions on roadways.

Since 12 p.m. Thursday, officials have responded to dozens of accidents.

There were reports of a vehicle accident on Northbound I-75 at Fenton Road around noon.

Police also responded to accidents at North Elms Road and Pierson Road, Northbound I-75 at East Grand Blanc Road and Southbound US 23 at West Thompson Road.

There are accidents also being reported at 4141 South Morrish Road, West Vienna Street and New Street and 344 West Mount Morris Street.

An accident is being reported on Eastbound I-69 at North Belsay Road in Burton.  Police have also responded to accidents in Fenton Township, Goodrich, Burton and Davison.

There was also an accident on Northbound I-475 at East Hill Road.

Not much is known about these accidents or if any injuries were sustained.  There is also no word on road closures as a result of the accidents.

There are also received reports of power lines down at the Clio Library located at 2080 West Vienna Road in Vienna Township.
