One man was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center in Saginaw after a two-car accident in Richland Township Wednesday morning.
The man taken to the hospital was driving a Dodge Charger on Fordney Road when he pulled into the path of a truck traveling eastbound on Frost Road.
The cars collided and the impact sent both vehicles into a nearby ditch.
The man driving the truck sustained minor injuries. The extent of the injuries suffered by the man transported to the hospital is unknown at this time, but officials said the man had to be cut out of his car.
Richland Township fire and police officials responded to the scene and closed Frost Road for a short time as emergency personnel cleaned up the accident.
