(WTOL) -

Temperatures will drop into the teens tonight as winds settle down.

FIRST ALERT days have been issued for Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning.

The chance of snow will develop near noon Wednesday, continuing through the nighttime.

Snow will end very early on Thursday, but slippery travel and delays may carry into the morning commute. Total snow accumulations will be 1 to 3" for many with higher end totals of 2 to 4" where steadier bands of snow persist. This appears to be the greatest snowfall of the early winter season to date.
