Forecast: Chances of scattered rain, storms through end of week

Posted: Updated:
(Toledo News Now) -

Another round of showers, heat and humidity today. After yesterday's drenching rains, today's showers will only be scattered and scarce. Within isolated thunderstorms, as always, heavier rain is possible.

High temperatures in the low-to-mid 80s - not as hot as yesterday, but still quite sticky and uncomfortable.

The window of timing for the rain will be 2-6 p.m. It will be mainly dry into sunset with additional storms arriving overnight. Lows in the middle 60s; staying mild.

As a warm front lifts over the area Thursday/Friday, more heat and higher levels of humidity settle into the area. Highs will slowly approach the middle and upper 80s, eventually reaching the low 90s this weekend. For those who said fall was arriving early this year: Think again!

Rain chances and thunderstorms will be scattered through the end of the work week and into the weekend.
