First Alert Forecast: Possible strong thunderstorms expected Thursday

(WTOL) -

It will not be as cool tonight. Low temperatures will drop to the low 60s with a more humid setting developing by Thursday morning.

FIRST ALERT Days have been issued for Thursday and Friday. It will be much warmer and more humid. Highs will soar into the middle and upper 80s Thursday with a chance of strong thunderstorms developing later in the day. Locally damaging winds will be possible.

The timing on Friday's forecast remains uncertain. Rainfall is likely overnight into Friday morning. If things fall right into place more strong storms will be possible again later in the day.

Temperatures this weekend will be right near normal for midsummer. A chance of thundershowers will continue Saturday, while Sunday is looking dry.
