(Toledo News Now) -

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected overnight Thursday and into Friday. Heavy downpours are likely with the rain, totals over 1" in many locations are likely in NW Ohio and SE Michigan.

The rain chances will give way to hot and muggy conditions over the weekend. Highs will flirt with the 90 degree mark during what will likely be one of the hottest weekends so far this year.
