SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -
Two people were arrested in connection with a series of bank robberies in Scottsdale after police followed their vehicle into Phoenix after a robbery on Tuesday.
David Letourneau, 25, and Jessica Baron, 26, were arrested after police tailed their vehicle on the Loop 101 freeway into Phoenix to 3700 E. Union Hills Drive after 4 p.m. Tuesday. They were suspected of robbing a Wells Fargo branch at 8991 E. Mountain View Rd.
Letourneau was booked into jail on four counts of robbery. Police said he is suspected in three bank robberies and one attempted robbery in Scottsdale over the past few weeks.
Baron was booked on one count of robbery.
