Richard Logan knows his writing on Vietnam’s president is controversial, but when two CIA operatives pay him a visit to warn him that his presence is no longer required in Vietnam, Richard understands just how tenuous his stay might be. In this new thriller, a chance meeting with Green Beret Dave Reynard leads Richard to investigate the issue of drug use among American GIs; Richard’s agent is encouraging him to meet with an American woman involved with protecting local wildlife. Intrigued by his meeting with Reynard, Richard heads to the meeting with the woman, using it as an excuse to gather more data about the drug trade. Little does he know this adventure will be even more dangerous than his last.
As he follows Reynard deep into the jungle on a supply mission, Logan encounters many dangers, from shelling to sniper fire. However, as he gets closer to finding the source of the drugs in question, he finds himself and Kathy Alexander, the wildlife lover with whom he is falling in love, in serious danger. Will Richard make it out of the country alive, with his story and his romance intact? Or will the dangerous men who wish him ill do more than send a message?
"Violence of Action" is a heart-pounding thriller that will leave readers guessing until the electrifying conclusion. Richard Logan is a likeable, all-too-human character whose adventures in a foreign land will intrigue anyone who loves a good page-turner.
