Driving into work this morning was quite an adventure.
Most of Mid-Michigan went to bed with it snowing and waking up to roads that were dicey at best for your morning commute
"Seeing all the accidents down 75, 69 and hearing more on the radio, I knew we'd be busy." said Giles Weiss with Professional Auto Collision. "Even the little dustings are huge, huge for business."
Dozens of accidents were reported on Genesee County roadways.
Crashes on I-69 near M-15 in Davison township resulted in a one-mile stretch of I-69 being shut down for about an hour, while police reconstruction teams worked multiple accident scenes.
On mornings like this morning and drives like last night, businesses like Professional Auto Collision are twice as busy, because not only can they fix your fender bender, but they can also get you a tow.
Weiss says his tow truck drivers started to get busy around 2 this morning and didn't start slowing down until around 10 this morning.
Now if you're a tow truck driver and you want to stay busy, you just might want to hang around.
"I-69 is a huge one. That's where a lot of the guys spend their days, the whole night basically," Weiss said.
