Sunday: Sunshine will give way to increasing cloudiness while remaining cold. High: 34 inland, 36 shore. Snow and sleet developing Sunday night with 1"-2" accumulation possible by sunrise.
Monday: An icy combination of sleet and freezing rain in the morning changing to all rain by mid-morning as the precipitation tapers. Some valley locations – including parts of the Connecticut Valley – may hold on to freezing conditions until as late as noon. Ice and snow accumulations should remain between 1"-2" with lesser amounts near the Shoreline. The afternoon will be mainly cloudy with sprinkles and drizzle. Low: 27. High: 38 inland, 47 shore.
