The Pinconning Area School district said a bomb threat was discovered Wednesday at one of its schools.
At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 6, school officials at the Pinconning Advancement Academy discovered a handwritten note indicating a bomb was in the building.
School officials said law enforcement agencies were immediately contacted and all safety protocol and critical incident plans were implemented.
In a statement Thursday, the school district said a suspect was detained and the matter is being investigated by police. The Michigan State Police canine unit was called in and a search of the building turned up nothing.
The district said all classes and programs have resumed normal operations. No further details were released.
