2 sought in string of armed robberies in Phoenix

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Phoenix police are looking for two armed men they said are responsible for a string of at least six armed robberies in Phoenix.

The two men targeted Dutch Brothers Coffee, Subway and Circle K businesses in the evening hours between Feb. 1 and Feb. 4 and brandished a handgun and rifle each time, according to Sgt. Steve Martos of the Phoenix Police Department.

They were seen getting out of a dark, four-door vehicle, possibly a 1990s import with tinted windows, at a Dutch Brothers shop. But in each case, they fled on foot after taking money from each of the stores, Martos said.

The first suspect is described as Hispanic, between 16 and 20 years old. The second suspect is white, between 18 and 22 years old.
