The recent snowfall and cold temperatures make for perfect conditions as Flint kicks off the Fire and Ice Festival.

Live ice carvings will be featured in addition to fire themed displays.

There's also an ice skating rink. Skate rental is available free of charge but organizers said you can feel free to bring your own as well.
