Hip-Hop artist visits Flint with anti-bullying message

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Hip-hop artist Baby Jay continues his anti-bullying awareness message to the Flint Community School district on Tuesday.

After staging performances Monday, Baby Jay will perform and then speak with students Tuesday at three high school auditoriums, Flint Northwestern High School, Southwestern Academy and Northern High School.

The campaign encourages students with positive rap and hip-hop.

Baby Jay, also known as Jonathan Gutierrez from Houston, TX, is a Youth Education Ambassador for Operation Respect, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to creating safe, compassionate and respectful environments for children and youth. The 2013 anti-bullying awareness campaign is in collaboration with Operation Respect.
