Police in Huron County are investigating a possible abduction attempt.
The potential abduction attempt happened Friday, along M-25 in Caseville between 3- 4 p.m. Caseville Police Chief Jamie Learman told the Huron Daily Tribune that the incident was not reported to his office until Wednesday.
Authorities said a 15-year-old girl reported that she was walking on the shoulder of Main Street on the north side of town when a person in a vehicle offered her a ride and tried to grab her arm. The teen managed to run away.
Right now investigators are hoping people in the area may have seen something.
The teen said she was walking on the shoulder because the sidewalks in the area were covered in snow.
Learman told the Huron Daily Tribune that the man was described as being in his late 30s or early 40s, and driving a blue Buick Rendezvous.
