Treasure Coast Comedy played in February in Jupiter, and The Jove Comedy Experience, The Rejects Improv and Mod 27 are coming March 16 to Palm Beach Gardens.

JUPITER, Fla. (PRWEB) February 23, 2013

It has been said laughter is the best of all medicines, so maybe that is why there are so many healthy people in South Florida. They have plenty to laugh about.

The beaches, which are among the prettiest in the state and are visible from beautiful oceanfront condominiums for sale in Juno Beach, are sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face. So is the abundance of natural areas and preserved spaces, including John D. MacArthur Beach State Park north of Lost Tree Village in North Palm Beach.

Aside from the beautiful environment and abundance of activities that make life fun in the sun, there also is something to laugh about on stages in Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens. On Feb. 9, The Jove Comedy Experience made its 66th appearance at The Atlantic Arts Theater in Jupiter. The troupe of hilarious improv artists performed “The Love Show,” a laughter-inducing blend of sketches and musical numbers that includes audience participation.

The Jove Comedy Experience, which comprises Jesse Furman, Frank Licari and Travis Thomas, produces a body of work that has been compared to Saturday Night Live with the twist of acting out suggestions from those in the crowd. For information, call 561-575-4942.

“An Evening of One Act Plays” was performed Feb. 15 through 17 at The Atlantic Arts Theater by Treasure Coast Comedy. Six veteran actors kept the audience laughing when they delivered their brand of black-box-style entertainment via four plays: “The Dock Brief,” “Ferris Wheel,” “It’s No Crime and “Sneeze.”

On March 16, The Jove Comedy Experience will be joined by The Rejects Improv and Mod 27 at The Borland Center for the Performing Arts, a beautiful facility near PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens. Tickets are $17 and can be purchased by calling 561-262-0114.

Clients of Waterfront Properties and Club Communities are fortunate to have such a wealth of entertainment options available to them, both of the indoor and outdoor variety. It’s one of many reasons residents move to the area and live happy – and healthy – lives.
