SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

An entire hockey team is stepping up to pay it forward in memory of a boy who died from cancer. The Saginaw Spirit will honor 8-year-old Jayden Lamb at a game this weekend.

The team is selling fundraiser tickets for their game Saturday, March 2. Fundraiser tickets are available for $12. A portion of the ticket sales, $5 from each fundraiser ticket will go to The Jayden Lamb Memorial Foundation.

Jayden lost his battle with cancer Nov. 27 of last year. Since then people have been performing kind acts in his name.

The Lamb family will take part in ceremonial puck drop at the start of Saturday's game against the Sarnia Sting.
