Sting stay unbeaten, knock off Detroit 63-49

The Saginaw Sting remained unbeaten on the season by knocking off the Thunder in Detroit 63-49.

Saginaw led by as many as 28 points before hanging on the secure the victory. The Sting got off to a quick start, leading 14-0 after the first quarter and cruised to the easy victory.

The Sting have now won 13 consecutive games.

Saginaw is on bye week before returning home to the Dow Event Center on Monday, March 18. The Sting will host the Kane County Dawgs with the kick-off scheduled for 7 p.m.

Saginaw remains atop the CIFL standings at 4-0.
