Live and online from Lansing: the Michigan Supreme Court.
The state's highest court says arguments will be streamed online starting Tuesday with a case about a contract dispute between the Macomb County Road Commission and a union.
Chief Justice Robert Young Jr. says it's a "natural extension" of the court's "commitment to transparency." He says the public will be better informed when it can watch the court over a computer in real time.
For years, cases could be watched on Michigan Government Television, a cable channel, but MGTV stopped broadcasting in December.
