SALT LAKE CITY (CBS5/AP) -
Authorities are releasing a report into allegations that a Utah swim coach sexually abused a teenage girl he coached years ago in Arizona.
The allegations led to Greg Winslow's suspension by the University of Utah on Thursday. The school says it won't renew his contract.
The 97-page police report says Winslow was a popular coach at Arizona State University. [Click here to read the full police report (PDF)]
It says Winslow was 32 when he took a special interest in a gifted 15-year-old swimmer on the Sun Devils Aquatics club in Tempe, Ariz. Winslow doubled as a coach for the swim club. Initially, the contact happened at the school in the coach's locked office after practices and continued when they would travel for meets in hotel rooms, the report stated. There were no chaperones.
The girl told police she was fondled for two years starting in 2005.
Police said there were no witnesses or other victims on the swim club.
Winslow has denied the allegations. He has not been arrested or charged.
Police at Arizona State University delivered their report March 1 to Maricopa County Attorney's Office. Prosecutors say they're reviewing it.
