"Catholic Charities' St. Patrick's Day Lunch Sale has been a tradition for many years in our community. People look forward to the delicious corned beef sandwiches and homemade coleslaw, as well as funding a good cause," says Vicky Schultz, President and CEO of Catholic Charities. "I encourage people to order early to make sure they don't miss out. The event has become so popular, we've sold out of sandwiches for the last several years!"
This year, Catholic Charities is proud to be providing St. Patrick's Day box lunches for another Flint tradition, the Pot O' Gold Run.
Runners will receive a delicious box lunch as part of their race registration.
Lunches, bottled water and candy will also be available for purchase to the families and fans of the runners.
Proceeds from all box lunch sales benefit Catholic Charities programs including the North End, Holy Angels and South Flint Soup Kitchens, as well as the Holy Angels Community Closet and Warming Center, counseling programs and child welfare services.
