TUCSON, AZ (AP) -

Ammunition and two suspected explosive devices have been removed by a police bomb squad from the Tucson apartment complex of an evicted tenant.

Police say residents were evacuated Thursday from one building of the Mohave Apartments about 10 a.m. Thursday, but were allowed back into their apartments by 5 p.m.

Management of the apartment complex was cleaning out an apartment when they reported finding a box of ammunition and "other suspicious looking devices."

The apartment manager called 911, and police secured the area and requested the bomb squad.

The Arizona Daily Star says bomb squad personnel later removed ammunition and two devices with fuses that were filled with suspected explosive material.

Police say there were no injuries during the removal operation.

The name of the evicted tenant wasn't immediately released.
