SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -
Students, parents and faculty arrived to Weiss Elementary School in Saginaw Township on Tuesday morning and were shocked to see a car had smashed into a wall of the school.
The impact of the crash left a huge dent in one of the walls of the west end of the school. There was also oil spilled all over the sidewalk.
Police and firefighters responded to the scene early Tuesday morning and had much of the scene cleaned up before many of the students had arrived on campus.
School Principal Mila Burns said that whoever did this must have been traveling at a high rate of speed before crashing into the wall. She also said the wall is cracked and maintenance workers are repairing the structure at this time.
