BAY CITY, MI (WNEM) -
St. Patrick's Day celebrations were in full swing today in Bay City.
Amid sunny skies and brisk winds, the city held its 59th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. More than 55 floats, 142 entries, and several bands and bagpipers made their way down Center Avenue toward Water Street Sunday afternoon.
A crowd of thousands, decked out in every shade of green, gathered to see the marching bands and floats. Attendees waved and cheered, despite the chilly weather and occasional snow flurries.
If you're celebrating the patron saint of Ireland this weekend, may the luck of the Irish be upon you!
