SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -
Two local city managers are apparently staying put.
Saginaw's Darnell Earley and Grand Blanc's Paul Brake were among four finalists for the job of Meridian Township Manager in Ingham County.
The Lansing State Journal reports the township board has offered the job to the city manager in St. Joseph.
But the door for Earley isn't completely shut.
If the township board can't come to terms with the person they picked, they've agreed to pursue a deal with Earley.
WNEM will continue to follow this story and will provide updates as new information comes into the newsroom.
