Spirit limp into playoffs losers of three of four - WNEM TV 5

The Saginaw Spirit will head into their first round OHL playoff match up with the London Knights on a low note, losers of three of their last four games.

The Spirit lost to Kitchener 7-1 on Friday night despite out shooting the Rangers 38-36. Kitchener scored five first period goals en route to the easy victory.

The Spirit concluded the regular season against London with the Knights pulling out a 3-2 overtime victory. The teams will match up in the first round with the first two games in London. Game One is Friday night with the puck scheduled to drop at 7:30 p.m.

Game Two will also be in London on Sunday with the puck scheduled to drop at 2:30 p.m.

The Spirit will return home for Games 3 and 4 at the Dow Event Center in Saginaw. Both games will start at 7:11 p.m.
