Victim of fatal crash in Bay County identified

WILLIAMS TWP. MI (WNEM) -

Police are identifying the victim of a crash that took place early Thursday morning on U.S. 10 near Flajole Road in Bay County's Williams Township.

The accident happened just before 2 a.m.

Police said Amanda McMahon, 30, was killed after losing control of her vehicle and crashing into a guardrail on the south side of the highway.

Police said McMahon was not wearing a seat belt. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Bay County Sheriff's Department, Williams Township Fire, McLaren Bay Region and MMR all assisted on the scene.
