Health care questions brought hundreds of people to the Horizons Conference Center this weekend. The Saginaw County Medical Society held its annual free health fair.
Local doctors and leading health experts were on hand to talk with people. The fair featured 82 booths with a variety of medical information. Free healthcare screenings were also popular.
"I think the interest keeps growing. There's a lot of changes going on, and this is just an effort to help people keep in touch with the healthcare community in a very informal way," said Dr. Tom Veverka.
The Saginaw County Medical Society Health Fair was planned in cooperation with CMU Healthcare, Covenant HealthCare, Health Delivery, Michigan CardioVascular Institute, the Saginaw County Osteopathic Society and St. Mary's of Michigan.
