Another M-46 crash caused traffic headaches for commuters on Wednesday afternoon.
It's the second crash on M-46, also known as Gratiot, in the last 24 hours, and third crash on the road in a week.
Authorities say a pick-up truck ran a red light at Gratiot and River Road in Thomas Township around 4:15 p.m.
The truck broad-sided a minivan on the side where a young child, age 3 or 4, was sitting. That child was taken to an area hospital where his or her condition remains unknown.
Accident investigators are at the scene. Saginaw County 911 is asking drivers to avoid the Gratiot/River Road area and use State Street to Miller Road, or Center to Swan Creek to cross the Tittabawassee River.
