GENESEE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

The waiting room on Gateway Dental was packed on a Sunday, all to help a little girl. The dentist office opened its doors raise money for 22-month-old Phoebe Keech. She is battling leukemia.

"It's just overwhelming," said Carrie Keech, the girl's mom.

Gateway Dental offered 50 percent off all services with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Keech family. Dr. Grossi knows the family, his daughter attends school with one of Phoebe's sisters.

Phoebe's treatment is expected to last three years with the first six months being the most difficult. Her family is optimistic she will beat leukemia.

Dr. Grossi has a history of giving back, several months ago he offered free dental services to the uninsured.
