NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A young woman wanted in connection with the abduction last month of her 76-year-old neighbor surrendered herself to police Tuesday afternoon.
At 11:30 p.m. on March 25, police said Megan Yeargins, 20, knocked on the man's door after he had agreed over the phone to loan her $10.
The victim said a man then entered the home and they both asked him where he kept his money.
During the robbery, the victim was punched and stabbed.
Yeargins and her accomplice are accused of tying the resident's ankles and wrists together, placing him in the back of his vehicle and driving him to a wooded area where they forced him out of the car.
The victim managed to free himself and walk to a house on Whites Creek Pike where police were called.
Officers returned to the victim's house and saw two people flee the scene. The victim's car was recovered at his home.
Yeargins is charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping. Detectives are still seeking to identify her male accomplice.
