Overnight: An east wind along with the effects of a weak, area of low pressure to our east will combine and produce a few spotty, light showers early Tuesday. These won't impact too many locations, but you may need to make use of your jacket early Tuesday. Lows will drop into the 50s in many towns and a few places near 60°
Tuesday: After morning cloud-cover along with spotty light showers or drizzle, our sky will clear a good bit during the afternoon and some sunshine will return. Highs will more than likely reach the middle-upper 70s, but there's a chance we could be cooler if those clouds are hesitant to move out or clear out. Western NC will see more sunshine as temperatures reach the middle 70s for many communities in the mountains.
Wednesday: We'll have a mixture of sunshine and clouds and dry conditions along with warmer temperatures on Wednesday. Highs will warm into the low 80s for Upstate towns and middle 70s in Western NC towns.
Thursday into Friday: Another rainy system moves closer to us on Thursday with the potential for rain arriving late Thursday. Timing suggests that showers and storms will be possible late Thursday into Friday. It looks as if rain will be more likely than storms, but we'll have plenty of time to follow this system during the next few days.
