BIRCH RUN TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

If you are a weather buff, interested in the safety of your family, or may be considering a field in meteorology, the First Warn 5 Weather Road Show tonight at 7:30pm may be for you.

As the season's change, TV5 intensifies its effort to keep the public safe during severe weather season. That means tornado safety, protection from lightning, hail, wind and flash floods.   Aside from our on-air coverage when rough weather strikes, we periodically hold weather " Road Shows" giving you at home a chance to meet our weather team in person.

During the upcoming April 24th event at the Birch Run Expo Center, you will see presentations on severe weather and get a chance to ask questions directly of Chief Meteorologist Doug Moats, Meteorologists Catherine Bodak and Lauren Fahrenkrug and Weather Specialist Eric Jylha.

There is no charge to attend, but reservations are required. To reserve your spot, email us at WNEM@WNEM.COM or call us at 989-758-2029.

Come one, come all to this informative and fun event.
