Arizona graduate, husband injured in Boston Marathon bombing

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A University of Arizona graduate is among the bombing victims who lost a limb in the explosions.

The UA alumni group posted a picture of Jessica Downes and her husband Patrick on their Facebook page.

Downes graduated from UA in 2003.  Both she and her husband lost a leg last week.  The alumni association is helping collect donations for the newlyweds for their recovery.

Doctors say at least 14 bombing victims lost all or part of a limb, and several lost more than one.
