GENESEE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Crews have cleared the scene of an accident after an auto transport truck overturned and blocked four lanes of eastbound I-69 Friday afternoon.

The crash happened just before 4 p.m. Friday in Flint Township not far from the I-75 interchange. The truck was a car-hauler with at least one vehicle on the trailer. Crews have cleared the highway of debris from the rollover crash. Diesel fuel also spilled out of at least one truck at the scene.

Police tell TV5 the truck was going too fast and that the truck had a trailer full of used trucks, and due to the speed, the truck and trailer flipped.

The driver of the truck that flipped did received minor injuries.

The area reopened to traffic around 5:45 p.m.
