A vigil has been held for those killed and hurt in a traffic crash involving the Grayling High School golf team.
The team's van collided with another vehicle on Monday in Kalkaska County, killing a player and the coach. A passenger in the other vehicle also died.
A number of people were injured, including Gunner Metzer, who arrived to applause from a crowd of hundreds gathered at Grayling Country Club for Thursday's vigil.
The Traverse City Record-Eagle reports silence briefly fell when Metzer left his van by wheelchair.
The 16-year-old suffered a broken collarbone, fractured vertebrae and a concussion. He was the first member of the team to be released from the hospital.
