6 charged in meth bust near Donelson Christian Academy
NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Six people were arrested Tuesday in connection with a methamphetamine bust near Donelson Christian Academy.
The raid occurred at a home in the 240 block of Downeymeade Drive.
A police investigation revealed that meth had been cooked inside the home on Monday night.
Detectives found various components needed to manufacture meth, including a coffee grinder covered in white residue, Coleman fuel and empty pseudoephedrine packets.
A pistol was also discovered inside a lamp stand.
The primary resident of the home, Joel Koenig, 38, is being charged with possession of a gun in the commission of a dangerous felony, unlawful gun possession by a convicted felon (prior drug conviction), marijuana possession and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
The five others being charged with meth manufacturing and possession of drug paraphernalia, are identified as:

Lisa Jones, 43
James R. Lawrence III, 21
Matthew Samuel, 29
Elliot Douglas Smith, 57
