Freeze warning across Mid-Michigan - WNEM TV 5

Freeze warning across Mid-Michigan

Posted: Updated:
MID-MICHIGAN (WNEM) -

As our skies clear and winds diminish, an unusually cold air mass will allow temperatures to fall below freezing.

A freeze warning will be in effect until 8 a.m. Monday morning for the entire TV-5 viewing area.

Frost formation is likely, which could damage flowering fruit trees and frost sensitive plants that have already been set out.

The record lows for tonight date from 1946 and could fall tonight. The record low tonight is 26 in the Tri-Cities and 28 in Flint.

We're expecting lows between 27 and 29 degrees. Details on our newscasts this evening on WNEM TV-5.
