TUSCOLA COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A Kingston man is behind bars after a high speed chase that happened Sunday.

Police say they tried to stop him in Tuscola County when they saw a vehicle traveling at about 100 miles per hour.

Police chased the 41-year-old man on Hurds Road near Caro and then onto M-46 where he ran a stop sign.

The man eventually lost control of his vehicle on Plain Road and became stuck in a ditch where he was arrested and taken to Tuscola County Jail on several felony charges.

Police say they tazed and pepper sprayed him after he continued to resist arrest.

His name has not been released. No injuries were sustained.
