Teens hospitalized after shooting in Saginaw

SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

Two teens are in the hospital after someone opened fire on them while they were sitting in a car.

The shooting happened on Lincoln Avenue between Morris and Randolph streets on Saginaw's east side.

Police said a 16-year-old and two 14-year-olds were sitting inside a car around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

That's when someone opened fire on them.

One teen was hit in the head and another teen was hit in the thigh. The third person inside the vehicle escaped unharmed.

Both teens are expected to be OK.

Police said the teens aren't saying much about the suspect, who's still on the loose.
