State says suspended daycare broke rules

Posted: Updated:

New documents show why the state shut down a local daycare.

The Department of Human Services says the facility on Lauria Road in Bay County violated four rules.

They include caregiver and childcare home family, caregiver responsibilities, supervision, and heat-producing equipment.

Caregivers Deborah Dixon and Leona Wade had their licenses suspended last week.

They have a right to a hearing.
