FRANKENMUTH, MI (WNEM) -

Four-legged friends are taking over Frankenmuth for the Annual Dog Bowl.

The even takes place every Memorial Day weekend. Organizers boast it is a "tail waggin' good time."

Dogs of various sizes and different breeds took part in the competition. One of the most popular events is the dog docks competition where dogs make a big splash. They put their skills to the test jumping in a pool filled with water.

Other events include the famous wiener dog races, costume contest and 50-yard doggie fun run.

The Dog Bowl runs Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26. Humans are also invited to watch their furry friends have some fun.

For a complete list of events visit the Dog Bowl website.
