Susan Swanebeck is counting sheep -- and she's thankful to find roughly 50 of them in a Flint-area barn survived a barn collapse during severe storms.

MLive.com says the collapse of the 2-story barn Tuesday night in Genesee County's Mundy Township left only one sheep injured. Swanebeck says that lamb is "recovering well" from a broken leg.

Swanebeck says the sheep will live with horses until the century-old barn is replaced. She's a third-generation family farmer.

The National Weather Service hasn't confirmed a tornado struck the barn but officials say there were at least two or three twisters in the area. The NWS did say six tornadoes are confirmed in parts of Shiawassee and Genesee counties.

No injuries were reported in and around Flint, which was among the areas hit by the storms. Damage was reported to numerous homes, business and power lines.
