Authorities say a good Samaritan who stopped to help after a two-vehicle crash in West Michigan was struck and killed by one of the vehicles involved.
The Grand Rapids Press reports details of the Thursday afternoon crash in Kentwood, including how the driver a pickup truck hit the woman, weren't immediately clear.
Kentwood Police Chief Tom Hillen says the woman was reportedly dragged by the pickup. Her name wasn't immediately released.
The initial collision involved a sport utility vehicle and the pickup. The investigation is ongoing and prosecutors will review the case.
